Warranties:
The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd provides 3 types of warranty structure. The first warranty category applies to brand new products. The second warranty category applies to second hand or reconditioned equipment.
Brand new equipment- Warranty 1
Brand new equipment is covered by a 1-year manufacturers warranty unless stated otherwise in the product listing. This warranty covers repair or replacement of the product. The manufacturers will not honour this warranty if the product is deemed to have been tampered with or broken due to negligent behaviour. In some cases a shipping cost will apply to return the faulty product to the manufacturer at which point a new model will be released.
We advise that any product delivered to you is inspected thoroughly before signing the delivery note as ‘ received in good condition’. The drivers of the transport couriers are obliged to wait until you have inspected the product before they leave so please take advantage of this.
Please review the following scenarios to familiarise yourself with the correct way to proceed should you receive a damaged or faulty product.
Scenario 1. You have purchased a pool table from The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd . The table is delivered by a major UK courier. On receipt of the goods you notice some damaged caused during transportation:
Step 1. Refuse the goods and sign the delivery note as ‘Damaged and returned’
Step 2. Contact a The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd member of staff as soon as possible (please see terms and conditions for the time frame within which a damage product must be reported) let us know the product arrived damaged and explain as clearly as possible the damage you noticed.
Step 3. The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd will have a replacement sent down to you immediately.
Reconditioned/ Second Hand Equipment- (Warranty 2 and 3)
Fruit Machines and Small Arcade Equipment- Warranty 2
Our reconditioned products come with standard 1 month ‘back to base’ parts warranties (unless stated otherwise in the product listing.)
This warranty covers the cost of the replacement parts required to rectify a fault that your product may have developed. The labour time required to rectify the problem will also be covered on the strict condition that the product is delivered back for service to The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd , (48 Drift Way Road, Hook, Hampshire RG27 9SB ). This warranty does not cover engineer call outs, these are charged for separately (all charges can be seen in the service section of our website)
Please review the following scenarios to familiarise yourself with the correct way to proceed should you receive a damaged or faulty product
Scenario 1. You purchase a fruit machine from The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd . The machine is delivered and works perfectly. After 2 weeks the machine develops a minor fault.
Step 1. Report the fault to a The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd member of staff (please try to explain the exact nature of the fault to ensure the diagnosis can be made with confidence)
Either: The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd will ask you to remove the diagnosed faulty part and send it back to us for repair. The part will be repaired free of charge and sent back to you using a next day delivery service.
Or: Depending on the stock availability of the required part, The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd will send you a replacement part using a next day delivery service and request that you place the faulty part into the same box to be returned to The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd . (NB If Liberty Games do not receive the faulty part back the customer will be charged for the replacement part)
The above process solves 95% of minor faults that may arise. If the fault cannot be cured in this way the following rules apply:-
Either: The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd will have a replacement machine sent to you and your faulty machine taken away for a charge of £59-00
Or : The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd will request the machine is delivered back to base for a free service using a The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd recommended courier.
Scenario 2: You purchase a fruit machine from The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd and a fault occurs the first time the machine is switched on:
Step 1. Report the fault to a The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd member of staff (please try to explain the exact nature of the fault to ensure the diagnosis can be made with confidence)
Either: The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd will ask you to remove the faulty part and send it to The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd for repair. The part will be repaired free of charge and sent back to you by next day delivery.
Or: Depending on the stock availability of the required part, The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd will send you a replacement part using a next day delivery service and request that you place the faulty part into the same box to be returned to The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd . (NB If The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd do not receive the faulty part back the customer will be charged for the replacement part)
Should this process not solve the problem The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd will have your machine collected, repaired at The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd and delivered back to you FREE of Charge.
Larger Arcade Products-Warranty 3
Due to the size and complexity of the larger arcade machines, they do require periodic servicing to ensure the machine remains in perfect working order. Please read how the warranty cover changes before you decide to make a purchase.
Larger arcade products such as ‘twin sit down driving games’ and ‘arcade dance machines’ are considered a specialist product. Due to the assembly required on these machines and the size of the machines, in the event of a fault it becomes impractical to have the machines collected and brought back to The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd for service.
It must be noted therefore that although the warranty on these machines does cover the parts of the machine it does not cover the cost of the engineer callout to solve the fault.
These machines can go wrong, and we suggest that you consider the cost of an engineer call out to be incorporated into your budget before you decide to make a purchase.
We recommend having the larger arcade machines installed on your premises to ensure the machine is set up and working correctly from the start. This procedure alone with reduce the requirement of an engineer callout dramatically.
Please review the following scenario for larger arcade machines
Senario 1: You have purchased a Sega Rally twin sit down driving game for your games room. The product is delivered and installed by an engineer. One day you turn the machine on and the monitor on one side has gone blank.
Step 1 Contact The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd and be as clear as possible describing the fault that you have noticed.
Step 2. The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd will collate the relevant parts to solve the problem that has arisen.
Step 3. If the part required is extremely easy to fit to the machine. The part will be sent down to you with instruction on how to fit the part. (Thus saving the cost of a callout)
Step 4. If the solution requires an engineer, The Beer Clear Company Uk Ltd will arrange the engineer that covers your location (please see service page to identify if your area is covered) to arrange a convenient time to visit and make the repair. (This will be charged at our standard callout rate- please see ‘service section’ located on the home page for more details.
